The S200A is one of the steerable horizontal drilling rigs that delivers the highest efficiency relative to its size. Its variable-displacement hydraulic pumps — with proportional flow, low internal friction and a high hydraulic output ratio — convert the power from the diesel engine into motion with the least loss compared to its competitors on the market. Thanks to its compact structure, it fits easily onto a single truck with all its equipment. It is in the high price/performance category. With a 400 L/min mud pump that no other machine in its class has, it does not strain the machine's hydraulic system — it lets the mud do the work. It is one of the most ideal horizontal drilling rigs for the Turkish market.

Mini-Midi Rig STETON S350A

STETON S350A

The S350A sits at the very top of the list of the highest-capacity, most efficient steerable horizontal drilling rigs that can be transported on a single truck. Thanks to its high-engineering diesel-hydraulic drive system, it converts the power from the diesel engine into motion with the highest efficiency. Its patented power-transmission technology minimises losses, producing more power with less fuel. This gives it a torque value of 15,832 Nm that no other machine in its class can match. Also, like all Steton steerable horizontal drilling rigs, instead of using ordinary off-the-shelf market software, it runs its own software designed specifically for each machine by Steton engineers to get the most out of it. This makes operations such as fault diagnosis, improvement and function upgrades easy — and even possible remotely. While the thrust of chain-driven machines drops by half by design, the thrust and pullback of the rack & pinion S350A are equal. This value can also be increased up to double (70 tonnes) on request with Boost Mode.

Midi Rig

STETON S600A

Considering the Turkish market, the S600A sits at the very top of the mid-segment steerable horizontal drilling rig category. Thanks to the high-efficiency hydraulic components and minimum internal-loss ratio of the whole series, it offers the highest pump flow in its class with 600 L/min and optional 800 L/min mud pump choices. It solves, in the most optimal way, the high torque and mud demand required especially for large-diameter pipes. It is a great option for contractors who want to break away from the rather crowded mini-machine league and stand out. Thanks to a rod box/magazine rarely seen in this class, rod-changing operations are extremely practical, fast and can be handled easily by a single person (the operator).

Midi Rig

STETON S600A-L

The S600A-L is the long-rod variant of the S600A. All its technical values are the same as the S600A; the difference is that it uses 4.5-metre rods instead of the standard 3 metres. Thanks to the longer rods, the number of rod additions is reduced and operations speed up on long lines. With high-efficiency hydraulic components, a 600 L/min (optional 800 L/min) mud pump and a rod magazine, it delivers superior performance on large-diameter pipe crossings.
